We're hoping that the decreasing number of reported issues signifies that Mote is reaching a stable point good enough for the public release of Phase 1 work. We urge users to please bring up any issue you may have either in our ticketing system, or forums, in preparation of this event as we will be putting more focus on other goals related to the project upon release.
What's new:
What's new:
- Added audio and visual feedback, in the form of a preloader (progress indicator + splash screen), startup audio check, and zone preparation progress indicators. This is a work in progress
- Some global hotkey and menu accelerators have changed to accommodate new additions. Some menu items have been shifted to a more logical location in the menu scheme.
- Moved Wiki Navigation into macro editor. In it's place, is a control to display context help for keys and mouse actions.
- The content of the context help changes depending on which component currently has focus, or if a button on its toolbar is used (e.g. global controls). Focus changing in Mote has been through mouse over from the start, so users can easily get help by moving the mouse about, The window can be moved by clicking anywhere on its interface and dragging it. Like other floating components in Mote, the last location of this window will be remembered, even between sessions. This is a WIP due to the changing nature of the interface, and more is planned for the feature as the project matures.
- Several interface improvements; Swing updates, Swing to JavaFX. CSS linking to JavaFX components started.
- With some of the JavaFX and Swing conflicts solved, the chat input interface is now integrated into the main chat interface dock, sporting a new look, and usage improvements.
- On a side note, we've consolidated the forum and blog under http://mote-project.weebly.com/.
