IMPORTANT NOTE:
What's new:
Bug fixes, proposed fixes, closed and resolved issues:
- New preferences keys. If you encounter errors during launch, please do an application reset by using the provided batch/script files, using them in the same directory as the jar file. For OS X users using the .app version, you can place the script file within the app folder itself, putting it under the Java folder, where the Mote .jar resides.
- We understand that a lot have not thoroughly read the build # 1 release notes, and subsequent change logs. We'll put this somewhere convenient once a location has been decided, but we'd like to share a nice little tip for those who have put macro script into their frameworks that force closes frames and dialogs from a previous load. Mote already was doing this since build # 1, making the (likely slower) macro script counterparts, redundant.
- Entering "/" on the keyboard now diverts to the macro pad. Running macros and rolls on the chat area will be phased out with the coming of the new chat interface.
What's new:
- New internal browser - it's bare-bones for now, used primarily to display the script wiki, and the legacy help items in the Help menu. This was done primarily to remove the dependence on the Desktop implementation, which may fail in some systems.
- New window registry - It's a system that stores the position of registered windows, so they appear where they were last positioned, each and every session. This is to help mitigate what users consider "annoying" windows that get in the way of other views. Registered windows as of this build are:
- Macro properties dialog (the partner window to macro editors)
- Search dialog (also partnered to macro editors)
- New command line argument "-ver": Running the command java -jar mote.jar -ver will return the version # of the application.
- TinyLaf theme now deployed to the Mote data directory. If users do not like the imposed look and feel, they are free to revert to no theme at all by deleting this file.
- More work done on Log Viewer. Hotkeys when the JavaFX components are in focus are:
- Escape: will close the Viewer
- F10: preferred/customized size for viewer
- F11: full screen
- Improved localization setup. Now all we need are translators once the completion and language files are completed, but that's for another time.
- Smarter, faster code completion for macro editors.
